How It Works

Anyone who comments on that post will automatically trigger the RSVP confirmation message straight to their DMs, getting them to opt into the drop.

Set It Up

Step 1 - Create a drop & enable Instagram comments

Follow these steps to Create a Drop. Once you’ve set up your drop head to the Advanced Settings where you’ll see a button to turn on Instagram Comments.

📌 If you haven’t already connected your IG account, head to Settings > Integrations and follow our IG Set Up Guide.

Step 2 - Choose an Instagram post

Pick the IG post you want to use. This will send an RSVP confirmation message to any fan who comments on the post.

⚠️ You don't need a special keyword for IG comments like you do for our DM integration. Any comment on the post will trigger your confirmation message, so every fan who comments joins your Laylo list.

You can turn it on for your next post or for a post you already shared.

Step 3 - Permissions

If you’re already connected to IG you will need to grant permissions via Meta. A new window will open up with this step.

Use Cases

Here are a few ideas for how to inspire fans to comment and sign up

Announce a tour or event

Announcing a tour with Laylo's Multidrop? Just link your multidrop to an Instagram post about the tour. That way, everyone who comments will automatically sign up for your Laylo.

Tease a tour - “comment your city”

Ask your fans to drop comments on where they want you to perform to tease an upcoming tour.

This way, you'll get more fan signups and useful location data for planning the tour.

Giveaways

Ask fans to comment to join a giveaway. Anyone who comments will be entered and added to your Laylo list.

💡 Get your fans to tag 2 friends! This will get more people to see and comment on your post, leading to more signups.

Trivia

Inspire more comments on your post with trivia or guessing games. Encourage fans to guess the name of your next single or album or post a pic and tell them to “caption this!”

Limitations

⛔ IMPORTANT NOTE - This feature does not respond to every fans’ comment on the post. However, you can easily customize your RSVP confirmation message in your drop settings to respond to fans in their DMs.
